A national magazine is runnng an extensive story about medical errors in its next issue.
The piece, 'Fixing Hospitals' by Robert Langreth, appears in the June 20 issue of Forbes Magazine. It is available now on the magazine's Web page at:

People quoted in the piece describe some horrific errors, and the difficulty of getting most doctors and hospital managements to acknowledge a mistake.
"It is staggeringly outrageous that this problem is allowed to continue and proliferate," patient advocate Michael Bennett told the magazine.
